In Oaxen Slip we serve our interpretation of Swedish bistro fare, hearty and uncomplicated dishes, many of which are meant to be shared by two or more. Oaxen Slip is a natural rendezvous with a mixed crowd, a friendly restaurant where you can come often.

What could be better than great food with friends and coworkers when the dark days of autumn descend upon us? Take a few hours out of your day and join us at Djurgården. Oaxen Slip Slow Lunches – a three course lunch menu with a longer sitting time to enjoy the food in peace and quiet. Lunch is served Monday to Friday, every week, also with our popular lunch special x 3 on the menu. One meat, one fish and one vegetarian dish for SEK 155, changing weekly.

Dinner every day from 17:00 and on the weekends it’s high time for our popular brunch!

Sunday Roast – embrace the apple!

Three course menu, only served on Sundays for 2p or more, new menu every Sunday. This Sunday we celebrate apple harvest day together with Nordiska museet, Rosendals Trädgård, Skansen and Spritmuseum. We serve an apple inspired menu including a Magnus Ek’s home made cloudy apple juice, SEK 575 p.p.

From October 2nd we are closed Monday lunch.

“Oaxen Bakgård”

Oaxen Bakgård goes fried chicken! Sunday October 22nd we take a break from brunch and the OFC- team takes over in The Slip. Oaxen Fried Chicken for the win! Walk-in from 12:00, come early! We keep the feast going until 16:00.

General info

We take reservation for up to 10 guests, are you more than that, take a look at The Club Room!

Cancellation policy for parties of 7 or more: Cancellations can be made up to 72 hours prior to the date of your reservation, if you wish to cancel later than this and we are unable to replace your reservation we reserve the right to charge a late cancellation fee of SEK 500 per guest. In case of a no show we also reserve the right to charge SEK 500 per guest.

We have two community tables for 10 guests or smaller parties that you may share with several companions. We do have some tables that are not available online and at the bar, we have 10 drop-in seats for those who are spontaneous. We open the reservation 3 months in advance, day by day.

As our availability can change daily, if you are unable to find a suitable time online please feel free to e-mail or call us for any last minute requests or for assistance with amendment of existing reservation, phone +46 8 551 531 05.

If you dont receive a confirmation the reservation has not gone through.

Christmas dinner

Christmas dinner is served from November 28 – December 22 with three seatings per day.

Lunch, with arrival time from 11:30, 11:45 or 12:00.
Afternoon, with arrival time from 15:30, 15:45 or 16:00.
Evening, with arrival time from 19:30, 19:46, 20:00, 20:15 or 20:30.

All sittings are 2,5h.

We apply different prices different sittings and dates;
